The mid-beam pour is done on Buildings O and P.
Here's what that means. The walls go up in stages. Crews stack concrete block with steel rebar running vertically through it, stop partway up, and pour a reinforced concrete beam straight through the middle of the wall. That beam ties the block and the steel together into one solid piece. Then the block keeps climbing to full height.
It's the kind of detail you never see once the walls are finished, and the reason a Vehicle Fortress building stands up to what Southwest Florida throws at it.
